'Going To The Dogs'
the ultimate greyhound experience
(for 2 people)
Reserve price is £200
A visit to the kennels of Charlie Lister, unquestionably this country's leading trainer. See how the nations' top racing greyhounds are trained and cared for. Charlie has trained the winners of greyhound's richest race, "The Derby", on no less than four occasions, as well as a host of other top class events.
Regarded within the sport as the most authoritative publication on greyhound racing, autographed, of course, by the "Master" himself.
Enjoy a night's racing at one of the country's leading venues, with a window table in the recently refurbished restaurant. The night will include a four-course dinner for two, with a complimentary bottle of "bubbly".
One of the evenings' races will carry the name of your choice and the privilege of presenting the trophy to the winning connections will be all yours. Also, a coloured photograph of this presentation will be yours.
No visit to a greyhound meeting is complete without a small flutter. In this case however, you can bet with no money. Track bookmaker, Peter Derrick, will pay the odds to £100 if you are lucky enough to select the winner. If it loses – you don't!
There is a reserve price, set at £200, on this fabulous Lot
When deciding to bid please bear in mind if you enjoyed dinner for 2 with champagne at the stadium, sponsored a race, presented the trophy & had that track side bet it would cost around £250 alone
